'VITA’ means ‘LIFE’—in all its many forms and phases, seasonal cycles and Life-changes. The main vision for VITA Therapy is to encourage clients to fully LIVE in the face of these necessary, yet challenging, Life-transitions.
VITA Therapy was developed to convey the spirit of ‘Vital Involvement in Therapeutic Action’—challenging a person to become actively engaged and vitally involved in Life through therapeutic action. That is, actively facing and engaging with necessary Life-transitional change, in order to empower oneself to overcome, learn and grow from the seasonal transition and challenge at hand.
The work of VITA Therapy is to help navigate clients through the often challenging, yet eye-opening, seasons of Life-transitions – in order to reawaken them to their given meaning, purpose and potential in Life. VITA Therapy helps celebrate the many births of new life, while learning how to grieve the various 'mini-deaths' of broken hopes and dreams – the many transitions in identity, autonomy, and responsibility that often naturally pervade Life. The goal of VITA Therapy is to empower the individual to transition in and through these ever-unfolding 'Seasons of Life', while moving ever-closer to their most vital and authentic selves.
VITA Therapy focuses on enhancing your overall physical, mental and spiritual well-being through these therapeutic modalities:
• BODY: healthy lifestyle management (healthy diet + exercise)
• MIND: healthy life-transitional coping and stress reduction
• SPIRIT: post traumatic growth through meaning and purpose
